Hi, probably not being very resourceful and finding the info myself but can anyone tell me what these scores mean, what they were out of etc, because I have no idea if it is average/above average etc, considering my d failed her 11+ miserably due to her nerves I wonder how her SAT's compare?

She got level 5 in all 4 subjects

Test A 39
Test B 38
Mental 14

Thanks

no idea what the actual numbers mean but level 5 is above average (as in doing well). It is what schools hope they will get to boost their performance results on league tables.

She should be happy she is doing well.

That's 39 out of 40, 38 out of 40 and 14 out of 20.

The written paper A and B are exceptional scores - the 14 out of 20 for mental maths is more ordinary, and would perhaps fit in with her nerves?
