Catholic school waiting list

Our son is 3rd on the waiting list for a primary school ( for a reception place) London sw. Would love to know people experiences in getting offered a place.

It is nearly impossible to tell what might happen. It could be that you are in an area where there is quite a lot of movement, in which case 3rd on the waiting list could well be favourable. However there are schools where there is no movement at all in the three years that they are in infant classes. It might be good to talk to the school and see if they will tell you how many pupils leave a year group in any12 month period, to give you an idea of the likelyhood of a place being offered.
