Inclusion managers normally do the roles of Senco, G&T coordinator and EAL coordinator, as well as focusing on groups who are underachieving. It often comes as the main part of a deputy/assistant head's role.

An inclusion co-ordinator in a school is another name for the SEN co-ordinator. They look after all pupils who may struggle to access the curriculum, for whatever reason, mainly SEN. Some schools view G and T as a special educational need. (Which it is, really, but parents don't like the negative connotations!)

It may also incorporate students with behaviour problems - our "inclusion co-ordinator" deals with the children who have been internally or excluded excluded for a period of time.

Certainly where I work G&T does not come into it!

Yes, ours covers SEN, behavioural, EAL and LAC.
