My DTDs are coming to the end of Yr R. Their school uses a variety of different reading schemes - most recently they have had Reading Upstarts 360 (L2 - titles such as The Clever Beetle and Rum Tum Tum) and today have brought home ORT Snapdragons stage 3 books. I have no idea what this means in terms of their abilities. Can anyone help please? I suppose I just want to know if they are below, at or above the "expected" level for this point in Yr R. They are summer babies - not 5 yet.
