Should a current year 2 student be able to subtract 2 digits from 2 digits and what method should they use??

Thanks mrz. I'm now wondering if I need to highlight to the teacher that she didn't seem very confident with it or wait until the meeting in a few weeks. Hopefully I wont be posting back as I sometimes hear that it isn't until the last few weeks of term you realise your child isn't doing as well as you thought.....
