ive just got a TA job at a school across town... have been wanting to go back to work for very long time and thrilled to have this job at a lovely school... in order to get to work on time i will have to leave at least half an hour before my son starts school (this side of town)... theres no breakfast club .... does anyone have any ideas? do any childminders do school runs and maybe half hour to hour either side of school or is that not significant enough for them to take it on ?
thanks for your help !

Hello, do you have room for an au pair? For such a limited time, it would be an ideal solution.

Just a thought..

You may find a childminder who could drop off at your child's school and then collect him again. The CM may have a fixed fee for the afternoon session, though and charge X amount regardless of how long she (usually she) keeps you son.

Your best bet would be to rind your LA and get a list of CMs in the area and to give them a ring, or alternately ask at your school where you will be working if they know of any CMs who drop off and collect from your school.

Congratulations on your new job!!
