I am coming to the end of my dc's first year at school. How have all you other mums found it? I find the playground a rather lonely place. I have invited most of the children round to play at some point during the year but my dc has only had 2 play dates. Perhaps this is the norm.
Some of the mums have made friendships and their dc's play regularly. We don't seem to have settled into the group on that level. Has anyone got and wisdom or hindsight on this?
