Braeside School, Bromley

I am thinking of registering my DS (3 yo) for Braeside for reception. None of my friends are considering the school (favouring state schools), so I don't have any 'on the grapevine' views of the school. I went to an open morning last week and spoke to parents who had children at the school, and obviously they were very complimentary. I also really liked it - I found it a happy, relaxed and balanced school, but with a good academic grounding. But thats only from one visit.

Does anyone have any experiences of Braeside, or have they visited and chosen another school? Please PM me if you would prefer not to leave a reply on the thread.

We are also looking at Ashgrove and St Christophers The Hall next week. I have decided against Bickley Park as I found it a little too serious and earnest when we visited. Any other schools in the Bromley/Chislehurst area that are recommended?

Babington is a brilliant school; whilst it only takes boys to the end of year 2, it really is a great start.

From there, the boys disperse some to Eltham College,Colfes or elsewhere.

My son went to Babington and is currently in the prep part of Colfes. We are very happy with it as is he. Lovely school.

Would Colfes be too far for you? Super school and goes all the way to 18. Not sure where you are located but if you are Chislehurst way, it is a well trodden route for many parents!

Nursery/pre prep and prep on one site and Senior School on another.

Please feel free to pm me.
