Handstands and skirts

Today DD(8) came home telling me one of the supervisors in the playground said if they want to do handstands on the field and are wearing a skirt they should tuck it into their knickers. I really don't get this, as I can see it would prevent the skirt flopping up over their eyes, but surely it exposes their knickers even more. DD is not ashamed of people seeing her knickers and if she was she would wear shorts under her skirts or just not do handstands.

Clam - your post seems to imply that there will (not may) be older children (max age 11) at the school who would look at the OP's DD's knickers voyeuristically / with sexual intent. Please tell me that isn't what you meant, as that is pretty vile and hysterical.

Oh, for pete's sake. First time I've not spotted a zombie.

Bloody annoying isn't it? I only just noticed before responding.

2nd zombie thread today about showing knickers. Strange!

I always encourage my DDS to wear shorts for inside their dresses or skorts as they like showing off their gymnastics so much.

ZOMBIE THREAD RESURRECTED BY A TROLL.

MNHQ - sorry if this is your job, but would you be able to comment on the thread when this sort of thing happens? I know the ensuing discussion is legit, but people might feel uncomfortable continuing to contribute without realising that they are feeding such an interest.
