Do you bother relabelling stuff or not?

Nope, don't need to. My two have the same first initial, so my job lot of tapes read initial.surname. I highly recommend it!

I wouldn't bother - DS had a few jumpers handed down initially and I didn't do it. Now she is at sec school and he is bigger than her so no more handing down!

Can't you just have name labels with the surname only? That's what we had as kids. Unusual surname.

Nah, surname too common

Our surname is not common but I do re-label. It would seem mean to ds2 not to, after all I made the effort for ds1 (think I may have middle child issues of my own to work out ).
