School breach of policy

Does anyone know what can be done if a school have breached their own policy? I have a formal complaint ongoing but now realise they have not followed procedure/policy on a certain issue. Am having a meeting with Chair of Gov's to discuss various difficulties with school and would welcome any advice.

I think you first need to write a letter, detailing your grievance to the Head Teacher and Chair of Governors. If you don't receive a satisfactory reply, then you can write to the LEA, also copying in the Chair of Gov's.

I have already written but meeting is to be held so they can 'respond to my queries'. Minutes are to be taken so will see how they play it. Have a feeling they will try to wriggle out of things.

Hmmm - maybe inform the LEA of your concerns anyway. Won't do any harm.
