My DH wants to change careers and be a primary teacher but he is a bit worried about the CRB thing. The only thing he is known to police for is having been stopped recently for 'suspicious behaviour'. It was in the vicinity of a school where he was waiting for a different reason, but due to a mental condition he is working hard to overcome (hence can't teach just now) looked a bit funny at the kids and someone on paedo alert called the police. They searched him and found nothing suspicious, questioned him and had no evidence he was a threat, just took his details and loigged him as 'suspicious' presumably as another innocent event would put 2 and 2 together (in their eyes). Is this likely to appear on a CRB even though it was completely innocent? If my DDs had a teacher stopped for this it really wouldn't bother me.
