Hi

My DS is in year 1 and back in Oct we were given a booklet of all the spellings the teacher would like us to help our DC learn at their own pace.

DS has now finished the booklet and the school are reluctant to give us more spellings as we are now going into yr2 work Hmm

Is there a book I can buy to help him??

He absolutely loves spellings btw and badgers me to do some each evening Grin

ATM we are working through a book I found in the pound shop: collins easy learning spelling practice.

But I think he would rather have a book with lists of words rather than a work book iyswim Smile

TIA

A friend told me about a book (it's an old fashioned grammar book) that's really good for spellings but can't remember what it's called - will pop off to amazon/abe books and see if i can find it.

thanks anyway vintage Smile

Mrz - have looked at the book online, does it have lists of words to learn etc??

TBH I am at a bit of a loss with all subjects tbh Blush as he seems very ahead in everything and will just "coast" till the end of the yr iyswim.

Which is fine if he is happy as he is only 5 (Aug born) but he says he is bored and finds all the work that he is doing at school easy....
