Anyone know Cuddington Community Primary School?

Trying to find a reception place for my DS and have just come across Cuddington Community School, have looked at their website and their Ofsted report, all seems to be better than the school we've been allocated. We will sit second on the waiting list, but have yet to view the school. Does anyone have any experience of the school? I am not sure of its reputation and I don't know anyone attending the school as we are new to the Epsom area.

We live in Epsom and I've only anecodotal info, but I haven't heard anything bad!

If you care about these things though, it does perform relatively poorly on the SATs tables though http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/table/2009/dec/01/primary-school-league-tables-surrey here Epsom Primary (which may be where you've been allocated?) generally performs better and seems to be really improving.

Thank you for the link. No, we've been allocated Meadow Primary school. Poor Ofsted so little concerned about that one.

Are you talking about Cuddington in Cheshire and Meadow in Ellesmere Port?

No, Cuddington and Meadow Epsom Surrey. Sorry should have put in the title.

We are in the area although do not attend any of these schools, as far as I am aware Meadow's not great ofsted was mostly due to the fact it was ofsteded very soon after the infants and juniors amalgamated and became one school. There were issues due to that that needed smoothing out, we were impressed with it and the changes they have made following on from the report.

Actual sats results seem to be better at Meadow than Cuddington though.

Sorry looking at old info regarding SATs, can't find any up to date stuff - it does fit with what I've heard though.
