Our school summer fete is going to have a "wacky" theme. Any ideas for "wacky" stalls, games, etc?!?

Yucky dip - buy the little eggs with prizes in them and hide them in a bowl of beans/porridge/custard etc - plenty of paper towel needed.

Splat the Rat?

Oh - and the ever popular: wet sponge throwing at teachers in the stocks

have a snow machine. set up so "snow" falls into a playground, it won't last but kids enjoy messing about under it.

Wacky face painting? Get a snazaroo kit from e-bay (£30ish). Paint "wacky faces" always makes a huge profit for us.

I'm the chair of our PTA and we had our may fair today. Alongside the traditional we did "bog roll basketball" - we borrowed three toilets from a local plumbers and collected loo rolls from parents. Throw three loo rolls, score a "basket" to win. It was rather popular!

Also did "treasure hunt gunk" - filled a sand tray with that gloopy bath stuff and the kids had to stick their hands in to find a Lego brick. There were three colours and three levels of prizes depending on the colour of brick pulled out.
