Extended School Day - does the school have to provide anything?

Just wondered if anyone knew, I thought by a certain date all schools had to provide some sort of wrap around care but i can't seem to find anything to confirm this. We have an after school club at the school which is provided by a different provider but there is a possibility that it will close, will the school have to step in or are we on our own?

TIA
Helen

There is no requirement to provide wrap around care on site. A school can fulfill the requirements by signposting parents to available childcare provision in the locality.
