Hi, can anyone give me some feedback on primary schools in Hastings and St Leonards. In particular Blacklands, Elphinstone, Christ Church CofE and St Pauls CofE. Thanks

St Pauls is one of the best schools in the area it is a large school but the reception class is one of the best in the area

Blacklands also have a fantastic repuation and are one of the top schools in the area for having one of the best early years programs

Schools to avoid like the plage unless you dislike your child: Christ Church, Elphinstone, Church Wood, Silverdale, West St Leonards, Red Lake, Sanddown,

My child goes to St Paul's and loves it. Some people do not want to send their children to bigger schools and it puzzles me as to why? They have a vast playing field, several playgrounds. lots of clubs as as the person mentioned above have won an award for the best teaching in reception years. They have a new head who is a real people person and the school has improved drastically. My son child loves going to school. The school is a real mix of parents, and a real culture mix, both of which are great.

Blacklands is a good school, but the cohort is mainly white british kids, Christchurch is nice but has no playing field and is very religious.
