What to expect at an appeal hearing?

Hi,
Im just in the middle of putting my appeal together, trying to collect as much info that will hopefully go in my favour. The appeal is an infant class size appeal (I no its an almost impossible one to win but I have to try!).
I no what the panel are looking for , its just trying to apply it to my situation.

I was just wondering if there was anyone out there who has also appealed who could let me no what kinds of questions the panel may ask. I really want to be prepared as im not the most confident of speakers!

Thanks

It is impossible to predict what questions the panel will ask. Panels vary a lot.

They will want to test the strength of your case so they are likely to probe around any apparent weaknesses as well as making sure they understand your case. As it is an infant class size case they will be particularly interested in any evidence that a mistake has been made and will want to test it to assure themselves that the LA really have got it wrong.

The LA are also entitled to ask you some questions. They will also be probing for possible weaknesses in your case.
