Anybody have any personal experience of Eton End?

Sounds really lovely but maybe very girl heavy as only takes boys in the pre-prep (and I'm looking for DS).

My friend has a daughter there and she is really happy at the school. I think it is fairly evenly balanced boys/girls in pre prep. I am considering Eton End for my daughter but it is one of the more expensive prep schools in the area.

Thank you NaturalOptimist! It is good to hear that about the balance of the boys.

I am going to the open day later this month so hopefully will find out more good things. It hadn't escaped me that it is quite expensive! If it's great though it would be worth it.

Do you mind me asking where else you are considering? I'm just trying to make sure I haven't missed anywhere!

I don't know as my girls are at other prep schools. There is a lot of competition in the area.

I'm also looking at Highfield, Dair House and St Bernard's Prep. Eton End and St Bernard's are my favourites. Also in my area but not ones I'm considering are Langley Manor, St Georges, Upton House, Long Close.
