Got into a lovely primary school that we like

[not a huge shock as many other mums don;t seem to like it....]

But we are very pleased :))

Hope there are some succesful placements and as many of you are as pleased as possible

well done!

we were!...foregone conclusion really, as it is the only school in the village Smile and, luckily very good and never full....

I am shocked at the stories coming out of places like London...

PixieOnaLeaf - completely agree with you. Our Ofted outstanding primary has had to take in so many pupils drawn to the school because of their good report that everything that made it outstanding and unique has had to be dropped because there are too many children to cater for.

One of my friends when applying for her ds's primary was a most put out when the reception classes jumped from 12 to 30 pupils a class.

Yes, one thing we were impressed with was that I asked if they were over subscribed this year would they have bigger classes... she said she had already emplyed a new teacher so classes would be under 25 :)

Nice one coconuts.

Shame that so many people seem so fed up with it - can;lt be a great system can it!?!
