Stonyhurst - any advise?

We are moving to Blackburn and are thinking of sending our 3 children to Stonyhurst school. My daughter is 4 now and I have 2 younger children. Does anyone else have any experience of this school?

Our daughter goes to an independent school in Blackburn. We did look at Stonyhurst but felt we wouldn't get enough extra for the additional fees we'd have to pay. It's a very traditional boarding school and day pupils seemed to be significantly outnumbered by boarders and we were worried about friendships etc.

Stonyhurst has a very good reputation locally though.
