1. How old is the child? (Years and Months)

1. Did the child attend a day care setting before joining reception?

      If yes, at what age? Where? (eg. Day nursery, school nursery)

1. How did the child react in September when leaving their parents?

1. How long does the child take to settle in a morning after their parents are gone? Do

they require any comfort objects to settle? What are these?

1. What do you do as a teacher to help children settle into the school routine when

they first join?

1. Have you formed strong attachments with your students? Does this help them

settle? How?
