end of term reports.

DD started in jan, just had our first end of term report back.

its marked her aganist some chart... which is level obtained type thing, but i have no idea what that level means.. or where she should be on it.
Does anyone have any link?
or info on where a just started reception child should be?

( obviously the most important thing is she is settled and loves it.. but the numbers will bug me if i dont know)

Go into school and ask the teacher.

It's probably the early years foundation stage profile. Are they up to 9? 3 is 'average' at the start of reception, 6 is 'average' at the end. Reception kids vary enormously though.

Yes, its early years. She's got 5s and 6s for reading and writing and 8s and 6s for maths.
I just want to know if this is ok really.
