I'm looking for inspiration for my class this week.

Has anyone recieved any amazing mothers day cards from their little ones in the past?

Any new ideas welcome!!!

My DCs last year did a pop up card, which you cut out the front so it popped up into a flower stand then they drew and cut out flowers and stuck in little cut out vases onto each step of the flower stand, all made to look like a traditional old barrow from a market. It sounds hard, but was actually very easy, must admit my DS was horrified that I was helping/teaching in his class all week so got to see him make it. We even did it with the kindergarten class so shows how easy it was :)

Link to the website we used, which has lots of other ideas for cards

A couple of years ago with my nursery class I did a really simple card which was quite effective. Each hand of a child is painted. Think I did 2 shades of pink but you could do the same colour or 2 totally different ones. One hand pressed down on paper, then lofted up and other hand pressed down, overlapping where the fingers of first hand printed. Both hands pointing downwards, at slightly dif angles, so when lifted up the handprints look like a pic of a heart (heels of hands make the rounded top part of heart). If 2 slightly dif colours are used you can tell more that it is handprints, which makes it a bit more personal. I then cut out heart, stuck it on one shade of pink paper, then cut that and stuck on dif shade of pink card. Looked very pretty.
