A quick question about reading and sats

Hi, my son does guided reading, is that correct?, at his school every week and also does another guided reading session once a week that only a couple of others do. He is a good reader, and my question is regarding the reading bit of the may sats in that if it is assesed by the teacher mainly will his score be based on what he is reading in these extra sessions? He is in year two.

It will be a combination of sessions, plus the reading tasks and tests. And not all schools do the tasks/tests in May. I'm well into mine already. Maths finished, Level 2 comprehension tasks done for most children, almost a third of the class have done the reading task with me (one-to-one reading one of the set books, questions, discussion, etc.). The scores in guided reading are not based on the actual text he is reading, but on a collection of evidence identified on this:
