So, I had first child start school in September and goodness did I stress.. Only had one friend who left a couple of months later - Do I take DD out and go private - She is not mixing and it just went on.

To all new parents with children starting school this year - I didnt find it easy at all, but take note of the guys on here who have experienced all levels of schooling. It helped me no end. DD is so happy at school, got over best friend leaving - has had birthday party (huge hit) has loads of friends - mixes well - and loves school (Playdates are a MUST)

I look back now and laugh - it takes a while for reception children to adapt..

thank you everyone xxxx
