New Surrey Hills school

Any thoughts on the new Surrey Hills primary School in Westcott - just joined with Abinger Common?

I know a few people with children there and they seem very happy with it.

No direct experience of it.

Oh thank you! I had head that the Westcott school was not as good as the Abinger one, but understand now they have merged and the Abinger head is in charge. Was hoping the Westcott had caught up.

Just wondering if either of you has a place with Surrey Hills C of E for this Sept 2011? Have applied but havent heard which site we have got yet and I'm sick of the wait!!!

Maamy, you said you joined Abinger Common, does that mean you already have a place there?

My children go there. I had my doubts about it, but so far so good. I still like my little old Westcott school though, but things change. I was quite happy with the old set up.

Last head was indeed a bit dodgy. New head seems ok.

Rachel07 - I'd have thought you would be given the site that is nearest to where you live.
