Relocating. Primary Schools in Lytham?

Hello,
Think we are gong to have to move as the commute is getting too much for DH & his job.

Currently living in Cheshire and 2 DD's (6&8) are currently at the local Catholic primary school. DD3 is due to start to school in September (great timing I know!!).
After some (any!) advice as to schools in Lytham (not necesarily Catholic, DH is catholic, I am not although girls are baptised Catholic). Most look good from OFSTED but I know that is not the whole story.
Apparently a lot of the schools are over subscribed also!

Yes a lot of the schools are over-subscribed, but luckily all the local primary schools in Lytham, Ansdell and St Annes are very good.

The other schools are all very good, DD went to Mayfield (St Annes)
I live in St Annes and love living here, have been here about 11 years, We moved just a few months before DD started school and she settled in no problem, made loads of friends and now goes to high school.

I was brought up in Lytham and it is a good place for children to live with parks, the beach etc.
I went to Ansdell primary which was (and still is a very good school) but now has much smaller intake of pupils.
Our Lady Star of the Sea is the local Catholic primary school.
There is also St. Johns C of E in Lytham.
Lytham St Annes High school now has a good reputation and there is also a Catholic high school.
The independent school KEQS also has a primary department.

DS attends St Annes College Junior School on Clifton Drive. It's independent but not expensive. The uniform is gorgeous (they wear hats) and teachers are excellent. Small classes mean they go on a lot more trips out (educational visits) than larger schools. Worth asking about a bursary too - I did!!
