SATS week for ks2 - any idea when?

Is it the same week right across the country? or do all schools do it on different dates?

same week, ends on friday 14th may hth

Tests for most schools end Thursday 12th May.

A few schools will also be involved in the Science sampling tests - they end on Friday 13th May.

What happened to the idea of having them in June? When they announced the abolition of the Science test for 2010 (two days before the 2009 Science test took place; great timing, that!), I 'm sure they said that the 2011 tests would be in June?

Then the Coalition got in and put them back to May.

I wish they were in June - there are far too many bank holidays between now and May 9th for my liking. (y6 teacher with palpitations)
