Is it normal for reception age dcs to have minor falling outs with their friends?

I have always thought that it was and when my dc has come home a bit upset about something, have suggested a way of dealing with it. Nothing major, just things like "x said this to me" or "y drew on my picture".

Another mum has been blanking me over an extremely trivial incident - I won't say what it is in case she is reading, but it's not of a violent nature or even verbally aggressive.
Just playing a game that he didn't like.

Am I deluded? Any views would be appreciated.

100% normal.

But - you don't know what her DC said to her, nor do you know what really happened....

So chances are she thinks it's bigger than you do.....

Yes, you're probably right. But even when I think of the worst case scenario it seems really trivial and certainly not deserving of blanking a person for a week and then loudly telling her dc in the playground to "keep away" from mine.

I must admit I have enjoyed not having this woman in my life for a week though.

Just seems bizarre.
