Maybe someone can help me. For the past few weeks now DD (5) has been me telling that two of her class mates in the reception has been telling her off because she belongs to the high ability group in the class.I know she is a little bit upset about this as she is fairly close to these two kids.
should i ignore or mention to teacher during the parents meeting on Friday.
DD is a very confident and happy girl and quite popular in her class too. for her to be feeling this way is quite worrying.

any advice on how to handle this please......

I would have a quiet word with the teacher - she is the best person to have a word with the two girls involved or the class in general about different abilities. With your DD, a chat to check she is not showing off, she probably isn't but children at that age do like to boast and about jealously.
