Hi I've got an interview this week for a T.A for a year 1 class. As part of the interview I have to read a story lasting about 10 minutes to a small group of year 1's. Can any-one suggest any dynamic, interactive & fun stories I could read??

As someone who interviews regularly for jobs in education, I would think that your capacity to select an appropriate story is part of what's being evaluated here.

Pippi Longstocking. Great fun for boys and girls as well as potentially interesting discussions with children about whether it's better to be in school or not!
