phonics games for nintendo ds

Does anyone know if there are any phonic based games you can buy for the nintendo ds suitable for a pre schooler?

begood - I was about to post something similar as thinking of getting DS a DS but have no idea what educational games there are.. hope you don't mind me piggybacking :)

I don't know if it covers phonics but i've seen ads for a game called something like "Mum I done it" which comes in a girl or boy version.

I Did it Mum for boys is mainly colouring, join the dots, 'making' cars, matching games etc - no phonics as far as I remember.

I've been looking for some too but there doesn't seem to be much out there.

I did come across one called 'Elmo's A to Zoo adventures' which is to be released in the UK in March, which sounds promising though not sure how much it stress phonics exactly...

i bet someone would make a fortune if they designed a really good phonics game. There seems to be a gap in the market.

There are good phonics games. They just need to be ported over from the Leapster :P
