i have a few questions to ask about my sons reading and writing... hes not doing too great and i want to ask teacher for advice on how to help WITHOUT looking like im questioning her teaching if you see what i mean....

can any teachers out there tell me how i should aproach her so she understands i want help and advice and to make her aware of a few probs hes got and i dont want to critisize her ??

Simply ask her to give you some advice and help because you've noticed he's struggling with x,y and z.

Nobody could take being asked for their expert opinion as criticism.

just ask if there is anything you could be doing at home with him to help or if there is anything she has found that works well with him in school that you could continue at home.
[I'm sure she wouldn't take offence, I know I always appreciate supportive parents]
