When will i find out which school?

Hi, does anyone know when i will find out which schoolmy dd will go to, she starts in September 2011? Is it different depending on your area?

Think it depends on the area. I assume you've filled in your application....? We find out at the end of April and forms had to be in mid Jan.

It usually says on the application. Go onto the website of your LEA and look up school admissions. It should tell you there. Alternatively, if you applied online, go onto your 'account' and it should say.

Yes i have applied. I was one of the first back in September

It doesn't really matter when you applied. Everyone finds out on the same date. It will be plastered all over the literature you received from your LA. Quickest way though is to check online as I said.

I applied on paper and i have looked online and cannot find anything (hence why i am asking here).

As long as i know it's April then. I can't remember what it said on the form because i applied ages ago.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply you didn't know what you were doing.

They need to publish it somewhere. If you cannot find it, just call the admissions team tomorrow and they'll let you know.

In our LEA they will be writing from April 28th.

In my area, if you applied on line you will get an email to tell you the decision on the 26th April, if you applied by application form the letter will go out on the 26th April (therefore finding out couple of days later, depending on post service).
