My DS starts school in September and I was wondering if anyone had come across a particularly good book about starting school.

Thanks.

DD liked Topsy and Tim Start School.

We found the Topsy and Tim range very good at dealing with new subjects (dentists, hospital etc) in an interesting way and with familiar characters.

Sorry all, I withdrew that message as I'd managed to accidently link my mum's amazon account to Mumsnet! Ooops

All it said was that we loved Topsy and Tim too Blush

second Janet and Alan Ahlberg 'starting school' and also like topsy and tim. there is a harry and the dinosaurs one too (sorry cant link) but something like 'harry and the dinosaurs go to school'. All (iirc) include a little bit about a child crying/not settling and how they overcome this.

Charlie and Lola - I am Too Absolutely Small for School. DD just got it from the school library, it's a lovely book.
