Hi, I am torn between DCPS and DUCKS for my 4 year old. I places in both and also in Bishop Challonar. Any suggestions would be great and handy in making the decision! How do you choose between schools anyway which could potentially shape his life later? Please help making me this decision.

have friends at both schools and they are all happy.

2 key questions i think:-

do you prefer co-ed or single sex? I think there are definitely advantages to both, but only you can know which might suit your son better?

how do you feel about changing schools at 8? Ducks you would have to do that so there would be another round of entrance tests then which can be quite intense? With DCPS, you can leave him there til 13 if it suits.

Think they're both great schools that get good results? Ducks seems more informal, but that's an outsider's perception...
