why is sooo complicated?
ds will start school in september. because my employer contributes to school fees of course we also consider private schools and have been on various waiting lists.
we think private might be better for ds, as he is on the shy side but my god are some schools bad at communication. our favourite school has a waiting list to the moon and back and anyway, why are not all schools just good enough so that no child needs to suffer a bad education and future prospects...

How do you know your local state school isn't any good?

Do 0% of children from it go on to have a rubbish life?????

Don't be fooled by all the SAT results and OFSTED reports.

You don't care how many % of children 'pass' govt targets - you only care about how your child will do.....
