not that we are actually in to either yet, but if the unthinkable happened and we got in to both - which one should we go for?

Hi there - my children are at local state Forest Hill primary, so can't offer any personal insight into these - but have you posted on eastdulwichforum.com - might get a lot more responses from a local forum?

Good luck - have friends with kids at Rosemead and SH, and they're all very happy with their experiences so far.

My children are in SE22 state school so little personal experience either but we were underwhelmed when we visited Oakfield and mum of child who has joined our school from Oakfield has expressed view that they wasted their money.
Have a look at east dulwich forum; if you do a search under the school names they will both have been discussed.
