When I filled in the forms for my DD to start nursery/reception I thought I was choosing the right school, one that I have known for years with a good reputation. I didnt even go and look around at any others.

DD started reception in september, and I just have this awful niggling feeling this isnt the right school for her, but is there such a thing?
She is my PFB and has a disability , so even more precious about her in a way. But I do suffer from itchy feet and the grass is greener syndrome so don't know wether this is just me wondering if there is better out there.
She seems happy, but there has been a bit of bullying from two other little girls in the class, its all new to me nad I feel Im struggling in making a decision.

Reading through here i can see that other schools are doing alot more in reception than my DD is being given? Even things like pencil grip are not being helped (other than me )

Any thoughts that you can help me think through..

I would be really worried about bullying this early on her school 'career'

How did the school deal with it?
Was it random or in some way connected in some way to her disability? (That would set alarm bells ringing for me)

DD changed schools already this term and has coped fine, so you could always change. But this was from a school 2 miles away that we didnt choose to our first choice 2 minutes walk from our house so a deffierent scenario

Did the school deal with the bullying well? My DD has a few problems with nasty comments and girls leaving her out but her teacher was brilliant.
There wasn't much work in reception, my DD didn't start reading until Easter.

What has happened that you want to label bullying? I'm just taking a lead from your own admission of being PFB.
