Just come across a link for it on a maths discussion site. Its American so not sure how different the maths would be other than weights.

Would be interested to hear if anyone has used it? Heard of it?

I signed my son up for a 14 day Dreambox trial a week ago. It's bright, colourful with imaginative characters and landscape, but...... because it's so graphics heavy, my internet connection (even though it's high speed) loaded everything really slowly (my internet coped fine with Education City and Maths-Whizz). My son was very patient but in the end I'm the one who got frustrated and closed it.

Their reporting system seems good, I got an automated email telling me the skills my son had practised during the session which also gave further ideas for practical games to play to reinforce the skill.

As an expat Brit living in the Middle East I'm less hung up about differences in weights and measures and currency etc, I think it's good for kids to be exposed to different units.

If you're not already doing so I'd try the 14 day trial and also try out Maths-Whizz (there's lots of recent posts on mumsnet about it) and Education City and see which suits your little on best.

Hope this helps!
