St Michaels CofE, St Andrews CofE and St Georges RC are all "outstanding" schools according to Ofsted.

I know people with children at both Chase Side and Lavender and they are very happy with those too. We are lucky in the EN2 area. There are no really poor schools.

Chase Side and Lavender both have excellent reputations, Grange Park is a little further but exceptional imo.

Would beg to differ on EN2 being lucky though - to get a place at any of these you have to practically live in the playground. Chase Side's catchment for 2010 was 0.2 miles. We have just moved out of Enfield as despite being in EN2 would only have got a place at local sink school.

George Spicer is also highly regarded but v little outdoor space.
