We are going to look round a prep school for our son tomorrow, give me inspiration, what questions would you ask?

How do they deal with bullying?
How do they discipline?
How do they cope with different levels of understanding within the class? You don't want them all working at the same level, you need to know that you child will have work pitched at their level.

Look at the TED talks by Ken Robinson, lots of inspiration there for how things ought to be. www.ted.com

Thanks for those INSS - hadn't thought of those, but want to know the answer, so glad I posted.

It is 18 minutes long, so not really a snappy answer.

I always ask, what do they do when the children are upset. I like the ones where they say they pick them up and cuddle them.

Ineedsomesleep · 23/11/2010 18:34

That's a great question Echo.
