Just want to see what poor 7 year olds are faced with - just out of interest, not to cram! It is what all primary schools are aiming towards, sadly - test test test- would be nice if our school abolished year 2 SATS papers as well as year 6

Sorry I thought it was year 6 SATs. Most definitely don't even look at yr 2! (I should read properly)

But the nicer thing about Y2 assessment is that it isn't all based on the tests, in fact hardly any of it is. And good teachers/schools keep the profile of the tests as low as possible.
