book week fancy dress costumes??

Hi, anyone got any ideas for book week for a girl of 10?? I have left it late to do so cant really order anything.

Any ideas will will great.

Hi thanks for your reply going spare, thats a good idea with the witch costume, her best friend is worst witch though, been there with that one Smile

She reads tracy beaker, enid blyton, rhoald Dahl, the fairy books from time to time..horrid henry..although im not keen..lol

I was thinking of cleaopatra but thats not a book characeter is it?

haha, loving the invisible man idea!! I think were going for Tracey beaker, curly hair, stripey top, jeans etc.

We did Truely Scrumptious, old sticky out party dress with a white pinafore recycled from Victorian day. Hair in plaits and painted like a doll. Only problem was teacher didn't know Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was originally a book!

Thanks for all the replies for this. I think were going for tracy beaker. Hair in plaits over night so hopefully really curly and not looking like she has been dragged through a hedge on way to school Grin
