Help me nominate Alex Brychta for award

Alex Brychta who is the illustrator of the Biff, Chip, Kipper and Floppy books has been working with the author Roderick Hunt for 25 years. Their books are used in 80% of school here and I think his drawings are great. I posted a few weeks ago to this effect and have now set in motion a campaign for him to be recognised as Roderick Hunt has been with an MBE.

They have both been awarded an Outstanding Achievement Award to Education last year. I do not know him personally or have any other connection to him - just admire his huge, varied, humorous and immensely creative output which have helped tens of thousands of children learn to read since 1985 (including my ds in Yr1).

If anyone wants to write a short paragraph or letter of support about him and his work, please post here. Thank you.

Hear!Hear!
There is an ORT book that is all about Alex Brychta - would love to read it again and find out more. His illustrations are a delight.

Fab idea. I love those illustrations. We especially liked looking for the hidden pairs of specs.

Please ignore the last paragraph of my OP. I accidentally copied both my message and these extra lines (as seen below!) into this message space when i couldn't get online earlier.
