Back from Parents Eve at dd's school. Teacher seems pleased with progress etc etc. Just wondering if these evenings/reports really mean much as if you go on Facebook literally every parent is bragging about their little lady/little m

Ignore, just focus on your DD, people talk a load of shit. If they feel the need to brag, how sad is that?!

Sounds like teacher really pleased, so beyond that, worry not about anything.

Everyone brags about everything on Facebook - it's like a constant "woo hoo my life is fabulous... no, please tell me it is" competition.

They're not exactly going to post "Johnny's been excluded for the fifteenth time this year and the teacher's said the only qualification he'll leave school with is an ASBO" are they?!
