Hi, my daughter is 4.5 years and has just started reception she is doing very well with her sounds. Can anyone recommend some reading books that I could buy to help her with reading please.

£15 only save over £100... I have ordered from here and these books plus some others are arriving either today or tommorow...

I recommend these -I use them with my tutees and they all love the quirky pictures -ideal to use alongside any synthetic phonics programme:

Go to the library and save some money. Smile

My dd is in yr1 and loves reading. We use reading chest as dd loves getting books sent to her in the post and they are from a variety of different reading schemes. Our local library does not have much of a selection - I'm sure I could order them in, but I don't know what to ask for!

These are the best learning to read books I have used.

If you are looking for phonics books, I would recommend Collins Big Cat Phonics and Rigby Phonics (which I think have just changed name to Phonics Bug?) My dd loved these.

I've already suggested some phonic books on this thread.
