Starting to notice that dd (6) cannot spell even basic words. Her formation of letters is fine, but she seems to have little idea how to put the letters together to make the right spelling.
Especially confused as she is a fluent reader who was given a NC level 3 at the end of year 1.
She really doesn't like writing at all!
Please, any ideas how I can begin to encourage her / make it fun. I'm not overly concerned at her age, just a bit confused.
