My dd has begun a new junior school and the other children in her class have all covered basic french phrases already.
Can anyone suggest a computer package type thing that that she could play to help her learn some basic phrases?
I was just on the RM site (they have an amazing package for maths that is really cheap for parents.) Does anyone know if their French product is any good?

Skoldo do a nice book + CD. You can also buy a CD-ROM with computer software to practise the vocab in the book. It's fairly basic but quite a nice introduction.

Don't know the RM product - is it Zim Zam Zoum? There's a free demo here:
